Timing Belts

Timing Belts have teeth to turn the camshaft synchronized with the crankshaft, and is specifically designed for a particular engine. In some engine designs this belt may also be used to drive other engine components such as the water pump and oil pump. These belts are light and quiet, but they don't last very long, relatively speaking. Timing Belts carry accuracy of gears and cheapness of belts. They can be manufactured in virtually any width and can span long conveying distances, and they operate with lower noise and less required maintenance than chains or rollers. These belts are also available in many different materials and finishes to meet specific application requirements and environmental conditions.
